Who we are

Kasi Cards is a South African online card game where players register with a cellphone number and play head-to-head Casino-style card matches against friends or the computer. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it. By creating an account you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Your cellphone number and password. We use your number as your account name so friends can challenge you, and so we can recover your account. Passwords are stored in an encrypted form and are never visible to us.
• Your display name. Shown to other players at the table and in the online players list.
• Wallet and game records. Demo chip balance, real balance, stakes, wins, losses, deposit requests and cash-out requests. We keep these so balances are accurate and disputes can be checked.
• Technical information. Basic device, browser and connection details that every website receives, used to keep the game stable and to prevent abuse.

How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To match you with opponents and show you as online to friends.
• To hold stakes, pay winners and process deposits and cash-outs.
• To detect cheating, duplicate accounts and fraudulent payment claims.
• To answer support questions you send us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages to your number without your consent.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your game settings. We also show advertising on some screens so the game can stay free to play.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of other third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.

Payments

Deposits and cash-outs are handled manually by the game owner using MTN MoMo. We never ask for, receive or store your PIN, card numbers or banking login details. When you request a deposit or cash-out we record the amount, the MoMo number you give us and the status of the request.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your account and transaction records for as long as your account is open, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that payment records remain verifiable. Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account. Send your request from the cellphone number on the account and we will action it.

Children

Kasi Cards is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly create accounts for children. If we learn that an account belongs to a child, we close it and remove the information.
